I think part of the problem is the nature of some of the thread titles don't encourage much conversation.

What Book did you read last night
What movie did you read last night.
What are you listening to right now
Comprehensive lists
etc

People tend to just add new posts (sometimes just an image) rather than commenting on previous posts. There are hardly any posts dedicated to specific movies/ books/ albums any more.

The "prejudice cap" is the number of posts which when reached your racism stops being funny an starts being offensive. usually denoted by the posting of the 'racism / casual racism' image.
