the vaude tents are nice. 300 is just too much. Some of the smaller vaude ones are really light but they aren't very stable - apparently..

on another note.. I read really bad reviews of that gear zone site..

I know nothing of gearzone myself I just went looking for Vaude stuff to compare it to the Vango. I'd go with the Vango anyway I can't see you being disappointed with it.

I think I put too many negatives in that sentence; I meant it should be no problem getting two bikes in even with the front wheels on.

hey we bought ours in france, in decathlon none in ireland unfortunately but there are decathlon in the uk, price is £50, also friends of mine bought gelert 2 second tents in the army shop in limerick which are the same kind of thing

the one we got had a little porch seperate to the 'bedroom' which was handy for storage of bags and a dry place to drink/smoke

they are the fuckin bees knees, the only thing is you should practice folding it away before you go cause if you are any way hungover you could get confused and it could take 30 seconds to put it away

we got the vango. it's 2.6kg, packs away small and really easy to put up and loads of room (not too high). Lots of tensioning straps for when it gets windy on coastal and mountain camping.

oh and we got a 40 quid discount for no apparent reason....
