Many people reckon that they can't tell the difference/don't care what brand of tea they drink. I know for a fact that the only tea I really enjoy is a dark but creamy brown coloured cup of Lyons Gold Blend. Failing that, green blend, failing that, punjana.

I reckon sugar in tea is murderous. MURDEROUS.
Fair play to people who drink it black, I don't get it.
If for nothing else, Barrys are bottom of the barrell because of their stupid ads.

Right now, I'm supping a big mug of fairtrade tea but relative to Lyon's, it's pretty woeful.

I'm a Lyons woman too. My mother regularly sends teabags to my brother in Germany and for some strange reason he became a devout Barry's drinker despite us never ever buying or drinking Barry's in the house when we were younger.

Bring back the Lyon's minstrels. Far too few minstrels and gollywogs on television nowadays.
