Having the same cover as Hot Press for your debut issue is a bit lame.

did you ever see a magazine with a spread on any musician in an issue and turn to the album review section to see it slated?

not strictly albums, but i used to notice that the ticket would interview some actor/actress in its big article but then give their new film 2/5 a few pages later - fairly consistently too

In answer to pantone's question about what peeeepull would like in a magazine, I'd like something with the intelligence, wit and depth of the economist/new yorker only about music. A magazine that's not tied to release schedules written by people who can do an article without opening google or wikipedia.
