Play up the supporter subscription. The only way to find out about it is buried in the settings. And even at that there's no explaination as to what benefits it brings:

Maybe some new supporter perks? Supporter only competitions of whatever free PR stuff gets thrown your way. Give viewing access to the listing of supporter forum threads to everyone but only supporters can actually view them (that's a real curiosity killed the cat type upsell).

Dude, you do a great job here.

The search function is dubious though. It's brutal for anything recent, it doesn't update often enough.

It's good for historical stuff, but people do not click through the various fora to find their thread anymore, they go straight to search. It doesn't find the most recent stuff.
