i watched it last night as well...
its a great movie though i fucking pissed myself when he did the whol "NO NO" at the models whilst looking through the viewfinder of his camera.

Oh man. My favourite Antonioni movie til I saw the passenger again, and remembered how amazing it was (see passenger thread)
Resnais and Fellini were not even at the races compared to Antonioni.

great, great flick. I had never seen it till a spainish ex girl friend of mine made me watch it.
theres not a single likeable character in it.
My kind of film.......

Saw this last night. Anyone ever see de Palma's 'Blow Out' with John Travolta. Well up until last night I thought that 'Blow Out' was a remake of 'Blow Up'. I'm a bit tick so I nam.

Then tried to watch 'The Night Porter' but the DVD is fooked so must go back and cause a scene in Laser later on.

What Antonioni movie (apart from The Passenger) would anyone recommend to watch next?

but good to hear you had a nice time on your 'Paris: a solo revisit'. did a french man pull a bread knife on the metro and repeatedly call for high-fives? perhaps that was a once off. nevertheless, when I think of Paris I think of my friend with the bread knife - among other things, of course.

Zabriskie Point.

btw - The Night Porter is pretty cool. Two great leads.
