argh, power supply for my acer laptop seems to have died.
any idea where in town i could pick up a replacement?

i've gotten replacements in the past from ebay, just by searching the make/model of the laptop. they were cheaper then the company ones.

The laptop shop sells universal chargers. The brand I went for was Kensington. Way cheaper over the net, but if you need it in a hurry, they're a safe bet. They're also a bit bulky.

the multi ones are all fairly expensive, cheapest in the shops is going to be at least 70 euro. amazon do the legit one for me for only 20. can't say no, can i

I think Petes is relatively cheap too, my mate got one in the Rathmines branch.
