Oh my! (1 Viewer)

it'd never fit

quite voluminous so it was

ah Kings-X....the only god squad band i ever liked so they were

although i spose it was them and stryper and not a whole lot else....

it's a sad day when £16.50 is described as a reasonable price for a gig.

Yes £16.50 certainly isn't cheap but considering recent trends it's not bad, hell even Motorhead is £21. When I heard Marillion might be playing i feared the worst (price wise) so £16.50 is quite a relief. Sure it's either that or £150 + to see them in England!

Oh, Doug's mowhawk turned to dreads before he chopped the lot off. "God Squad" noe there's a tag they could do without! When they get mentioned in the same breath as s*******r I really have to question your rock credentials. Sorry pete.

wow... small world, huh?
i used to hang with King's X a few years ago.
Doug used to favor a bar i used to work at call Number's in Houston, TX USA.
if he is in country still, tell him "Dick from Number's" said "hey!"

it's true! TRUE I tells ya

What do you think King is about then? All them "You are the one..." and "King is coming..." lyrics? Eh?

And calling an album "Faith Hope Love" - what's that all about then, eh?

Sure, no denying it some of their earlier stuff nodded lyrically in a "christian" direction but those days are long gone. There's many an interview with Doug where he talks at length about his personal life, the bands's "beliefs" and lack of. He's had a hell of a life and it don't seem to be getting much better. Still one of the best bands I've ever seen.

That was the same movie Paul Ruebens went to see waset it.?

Also Anto,
back when we were smelly students busking on grafton st, they wernt pro-god lyrics you had me sing when we did that Kings X song were they...?
