saw this on a cycling news site the other day. Basically, the doctor at the center of all the major Spanish-centered doping scandals (pretty much every scandal you've heard about in the last 3/4 years) is back in the news after it transpired that, well basically hes still facilitating doping. The investigation into the original scandal was called 'Operacion Puerto', and the latest investigation called 'Operation Greyhound' (where it was discovered that some athletes were found pedalling drugs). During the original investigation the doctor mentioned that around one-quarter of his clientel were cyclists, the rest being elite athletes of other codes (it was suspected that top tennis players, track and field athletes and Real Madrid footballers were also clients).

Anyhow, heres a quote from this doctor thats come out as part of these latest news stories;

“If I told them what I know, then goodbye to the World Cup and European championship.”

The Spanish government tried to bury this last time. Seems its back though and if it grows legs, who knows who'll end up being implicated.
