I was at that. Yea it was intense but gets exaggerated.

Not first time I heard that said about that Motorhead gig. Infamous volume.

i was at the sfx gig. no, it wasn't that intense by any means (i did bring my own ear plugs however). i saw them - whenever it was - about 15 years ago in sf and that seemed way louder - like standing in front of a jet plane. they were actually selling ear plugs at the sfx gig which i thought was funny, at the time

i think i said this on here before some time, but the most ridiculous volume i’ve experienced was sunn0))) at berghain... true full-frequency nuclear-blast lunatic volume, the only gig i’ve ever seen people *run out of* because of the volume, like it was trench warfare... yes i had earplugs
