O RLY?

My Sony Ericsson c902 gave up the ghost on Saturday and I'm devastated. It was a lovely phone, with a very decent camera and I miss it. I knew it couldn't last forever, but I hoped it would last long enough to get past this 'too big to be a phone (unless you've shovels for hands) too small to be a decent tablet' nonsense that's happening at the moment.

Oh, it also took all my contact information with it (yes, I know I should have backed them up) so I'm also having to overcome the embarrassment of having to ask people who they are and request numbers.

I don't even care that it's "Blue Monday" - Saturday was my year's low point.

There's plenty of time yet

sorry about the phone though

Thanks, that cheers me up so much.

It just seems that new phones are mostly crappy. Long battery life = 3-4 days on standby and maybe 1-2 if you make any calls or actually use the thing. Even with a nearly 6 year old battery I'm used to over a week of moderate use between charges and about a month of standby. What is the point in having a mobile that spends more time plugged in than actually mobile?
