Get COD4. If it wasn't for respawning enemies it might have pipped bioshock for my game of the year. No tearing, no slowdown, amazing looking, hugely immersive. In fact some of it was too immersive, one level in particular was rather chilling.

I've put R&C on my xmas list, I really liked the demo.

I should say that if you're a huge fan of Bioware games, there's no doubt you'll get on very well with Mass Effect and I'm sure you'll be able to overlook the technical flaws. Just don't expect any particularly innovative movement away from the KOTOR template.

I got it too. It's not bad. The long lift scenes are excruciating, especially if you get in one by accident and then have to go back up again.

It's getting better as it goes along though.

i am waiting to finish assassins creed first so i can trade that in for it. no point in keeping a single player game.......so is it worth picking up is the question

you would hope that they rushed it to hit the release date and a patch is in the works. either that or its just fucked
