I have a second pair of glasses largely so I can find the other glasses I misplace. My glasses could be a metre away on a dark surface and I can't see them.

The other major complaint is that yesterday was the day my laptop decided to die. Thing just won't turn on.

Laptop is dead. Pure dead, even the Afghan IED lads on the high street couldn't be dealing with it.

So I am without computer for the foreseeable.

I kinda need to sign a contract for a new job, and all the other stuff, and I'm broke, so this far from Ideal.

Cap'n died. There's all of everything going on in my head and also real life. I'm handling it, (except now, obvs) and the community is great. But fuck, I'm just expecting him to appear and offer me a cheese toastie with Marmite or something. But he won't. You know, because he's dead. It's ok, but It is so strange.

The other logistics are manifold. Good posts forthcoming over the next week's and months.

He wasn't a healthy man, but I thought he had at least ten more years in him. But it could have happened any time.
He just died.

His adult child came today, she is awesome. and I think we're not homeless for the foreseeable. But maybe.
Looooog congress about what happens next. I'm glad we kept her away from the wailing dickheads. They mean well, but fuck off.

my brother had what appears to have been an epileptic fit today. can't say it was totally unexpected; he had an 'absence' six or seven years ago that they couldn't find a cause for, and a TIA was mentioned then as a possibility, albeit with no evidence found to back it up.
but today, he was unconscious for at least 45 minutes with hallmarks of a full blown fit. bar the absence mentioned above, there has been nothing else in his history close to this. shit buzz.
