I’ll check out Quatermass, I know it’s one of his big ones but it was hard to get my hands on it when I was buying most of this sort of stuff.

And Brian knows his stuff, we never overlapped on Thumped but know him in real life for years now. He’s doing the Coil exhibition with me and another friend.

Coil exhibition?

not suprised there's a gallery x/BC connection - did he exhibit something a few years back @Cornu Ammonis ?? that stirred perhaps a false memory

Yeah, a mutual friend of ours (who is the third person running this exhibition) is a visual artist and has had and curated a few exhibitions at Gallery X. Brian and I have done talks and he’s done music for them too.

You don't have to know him to react to him, but TLDR a modern musician with exceptional skills on many instruments who also writes songs, produces and plays live. Sorta like prince but asexual.

if i'm thinking of the right thread, the opening post featured a video three quarters of an hour long. that's the issue there, not that it was people eschewing a new music thread.

OK NOBODY TALK ABOUT MUSIC THEN. sound.

I dunno, i looked at thumped this morning and it was like 8 data entry threads. Maybe a few minutes watching a video about music wouldn't be....

Threadwatch: Data entry threads still reign supreme
