Mad Men Season 6 (1 Viewer)

Perhaps it's just me but was this season finale a bit different from what they normally do? To my mind the Mad Men season finale usually sets up a dramatic change in the storyline but it points the viewer in the direction that they're going with things and then when the next season starts, often with a number of months gone by it's easy to jump back in the viewer can fill in a number of blanks. I'm thinking particularly of the finale when they left the original Sterling Cooper and founded the agency with Lane, the next one started with the offices all set up. Or last season when it was obvious Don was going to start fucking around on his wife again, this season starts and there's Don having a full blown love affair with whassherface from Freaks & Geeks. This season they've ended the season with those big changes, but everything is in such a flux there isn't an obvious direction that a number of storylines are going to go.

Maybe I'm entirely wrong and this theory is entirely based on those being the only 2 season finales that I can remember the details of.

Anyway, really enjoyed last week's episode can't wait for the final season to start.

Finally got around to the last episode, I guess I just didn't want it to end. Was disappointed to be honest. Tried to cram far too much in and most of the plotlines ended up pretty half-baked. The last scene was nice though.
