I remember back when the brother was in a band in cork about 10 years back, it was deadly, you had kidminister, boa, them (flywheel/coil/sander/whatever they were called that week) and some other class bands. The one the other night in galway on the other hand...

Since when has this been cool? Played it ourselves once thought it would be beneath the likes of Delorentos and Neosupervital, by jeekers. Perhaps we are cooler than we thought

Yeah you're so cool

Case in Point -

Everybody wants to be American, everybody wants to be on the BOX
So take a franchise on the franchise, change your name to Bob
And half the kids are hungry and half the kids are cracked
It's a cool type thing
You wouldn't understand

Oh oh
Yes I had a belle, but some dick-happy shag doctor snaffled her away
Yes I had a beau, but he expected me to act like a nun and dress like a whore
I want to be a hermit, I vant to be alone
I could climb myself a mountain
Or exterminate the world

I am the overdog and I can wait forever
I am the overdog and I can take this heavy weather

Murray lost his manhood. Hard cheese.
Julia found them on the road, put eyes on her snowman
And now he is the ice queen, wears Versace and shit like that
Well, it's a living and in this game
Somebody's got to be it.

I am the overdog and I can wait forever
I am the overdog and I can take this heavy weather

Mad witch, brutal, she's the one who stole the child
Took up, fucked up,
Pile the faggots high and fry the bitch
But I am the over dog and I can wait forever
I am the over dog and I can endure this heavy weather

Re: IMRO showcase

The IMRO gig in Belfast last week was pretty good. Clone quartet were really good, Oppenheimer were pretty nice and Patiosounds, although I didn't see them cos we were playing the other stage at the time, apparently sounded class.

Re: IMRO showcase

yeah?
dunno... we've never played one and we've never played the Village so we thought we'd give it a go.
we've been played a few times on 2fm as a result so, y'know, thats cool.
A gigs a gig sure.

funny: the 2fm roadcaster is broadcasting from the village tonight. i expect larry gogan and his wobbily hand.
