I think there would be alot gigs in Hamburg it would be big enough place for band's on tour to stop there.
I know there is a ship that is used as a venue that does be in Hamburg sometimes see here http://ms.stubnitz.com/ Looks interesting actually.
Other sugestion visit the Unilever building !
