I bought a new capo yesterday. I put it in my pocket and had a wander around x-music for a while before I left. It was only when I got to the car that I realised I hadn't paid for it.

Duh! Back in my guitar wielding days I tried to do this with flippin booster pedals & EQ's and such... Suck a simple bloody solution.
I guess thats what makes him great.

I've seen that idea before but also have to say I've never found anything that wasn't already quieter than a big muff dimed into an amp. Always my loudest setting by far...

Hooly from Wizards of Firetop Mountain has a similar principle going on with his guitar to Matamp being the loudest and then an OD turned down really low when he needs to back off a lot.
