Anyone thats been there or just knows the answer to these questions:
So Guinness make this claim about having a 9000 year lease at £45 per year

Do they still pay it and Who do they pay it too?
If they still have the lease, how is that Diego tried to sell the land a few years back?

I think they were selling the lease.
Not sure though.

Probably paying the money to the local authority.

Are you allowed sell on your lease? surely the owners would have to agree and would want a bit of the money

i was once told that the GPO is leased in a similar arrangement. afaik, the lease is still in place on james's gate.
