My big problem with Yawn of the Planet of the Apes was that there were no lads getting in the faces of people and whooping like apes when I went to see it

best bit in any film this yearRemember this...
it's used pretty sparingly in DOTPOTA and mostly it's state of the art motion capture which looks terrific. it's hardly The Scorpion King.My main problem with the new apes films & most blockbusters in general....too much CGI.
Hopefully Afternoon of the planet of the apes won't have as much.

This sentence has me thinking. I always assumed that you would commute home from work rather than commute home. Maybe you live at work? Anyways i read the etymolgy and it's going in my trivia reservoirwill have a think on the commute home and post my favourites
yeah whateverThis sentence has me thinking. I always assumed that you would commute home from work rather than commute home. Maybe you live at work?
yes it really detracted from the unfaltering realism pre-CGI
fair point, but I still prefer the original POTA films to any of the new ones.
@7 - No tomorrow, what did you think of Foxcatcher. I haven't stopped thinking about it since I saw but I didn't enjoy watching it at the time. It felt creepily voyeuristic or something.
how so?Also, in certain ways I'd consider it a modern companion piece to The Exorcist.
how so?
I also re-watched it again a couple of months ago and agree that it’s absolutely deadly
