yeah I ignore all the application requests and have deleted a lot of them but still have more to delete! I have 320 app requests - that's just ridiculous.

You can clear them all in one go can't you? Everytime someone new discovers facebook they send invites for a while but now it seems to have calmed down. the best bit about facebook is the online chat. There's nothing on mine worth seeing anyways so if if anyone does get into it I'm not bothered

Interesting article alright. Maybe a bit over the top on the sinister motives.

My main problem with Facebook is that it doesn't facilitate socialising in the real world. People still organise their socialising through email and text messaging. The socialising in Facebook is just an end onto itself and pretty limited. Its mostly just sending some messages back and forth and sharing some photos.
