I just found out today that theres an instant messanger on facebook. Have been chatting on it since I found out.
I removed super wall, compare your friends, and lots of other stuff. I've also decided to become much harsher when it comes to refusing offers from friends of hugs, flowers, drinks etc. Very liberating to remove all that stuff and get rid of the competitive popularity element.
I just stay for the scrabble. I ignore all requests save from the rain forest thing. I don't believe it, but just in case I accept. I never send anything back though. Virtual hugs, pints, and things like 'rate my freinds' make my heart sad. I'm sure they have an emotion for that too.
So let's say that hypothetically, someone you know to be rather bonkers requests a facebook friendship. Let's say that, hypothetically, you're pretty sure that this person just wants to bleed you for information about another person, or use you to maintain a connection you know to be unhealthy and bad.
The long and short of it is: this person is a mental. But do I take one for the team or what? If I take one for the team, it means being uncomfortably close to drama that I've successfully kept at a distance until now. If I don't, it could create more drama for someone else.
Answers on a postcard pls.
set up a limited profile so they can only see certain parts of your page.

Just ignore the request and say you never got it.
This was my first reaction.
She would have had to search for me, so she might notice, but I'm hoping she won't. If she goes a little bonkers over it (it's kind of likely), is it okay if I blame you? Or we can share the blame. I just bought a book on hiding places. We can find somewhere cool and camp out with camo face paint and helmets with leaves on them.

So what's this facebook malarky anyway?
