Elon Musk (3 Viewers)

So they've issued a recall on all cybertrucks because of the accelerator issue. But it affects fewer than 4,000 vehicles. You'd think for a vehicle that's getting so much hype they'd have shifted ten times that many...

It's pretty amazing - they tooled up for 100,000 a year, a whole new factory and all.
It's almost like almost everyone who bought one was a youtube/insta/tiktok person and a few assorted musk fanboys.

I'm nearly ready to revise my theory that stellantis will take over tesla when he openly has destroyed the thing.

The value for them at this time is mostly gonna be

charing infrastructure
Factories
A few lines of code

After that the badge is losing stock by the day - you'd be looking at an opel or something with tesla written on in a few years, maybe just on west/south USA.

Probably mentioned this before, but someone I know bought himself a Tesla for his 25th birthday, maybe 8 years ago now. Yes he is a showy kid with too much money.

On his 30th birthday he checked, out of curiosity, what would £40k of Tesla shares be worth, had he bought shares instead of an actual Tesla product.

£1,400,000, he discovered. The whole Tesla thing is a confidence scam.

Nice car and all...

Yeah I've been looking at the share prices - essentially from the announcement of cybertruck onward they get to a stupid value, and are rolling down to pre-2019 values every week since the thing launched. Stellantis wont buy it until it's closer to 2019 values I suspect. But yes 100% speculation over value

Donald trump cheerleader Elon Musk appears to have 'launced' the cybercab, which from one look at the image is pretty obviously has almost none of the useful features of a custom built taxi. Whats the bets its a half assed reskin of an existing model that he's floating to stop the barrage of valid cristicism of thier last hunk of shit truck.

It's annoying because there was defo a few years of the right engineers doing the right things before ego consumed it all.

he's probably sold Trump on the idea of cyber cabs deporting people.

Aye even in that case, it's a terrible design :P
Like you'd want something more like a jail cell on wheels that is powered of the labour of non nations (that america has been dependent on since its inception) rather than silver 2024 prius lookalike,

I guess he has to suck trumps dick because his car company wont survive a non isolationist ecomony and he's living off the teats of the military industrial complex for the meantime

There's screen grab of the cybertruck ownership contract knocking around the web to the effect of driving the thing along a rough road, or a pothole, will invalidate the warranty.

It's reminiscent of that Millwall chant, "you're shit, and you know you are"

well, that went down well.

Elon Musk is a psychopathic turd. I don't need anymore evidence of that.
I genuinely love it when spaceships explode. No sympathy at all. I've been bitter since early 1986 when there was a newsflash on RTE 2 to announce the NASA (Need Another Seven Astronauts) space shuttle explosion.
They kept going on about one of the astronauts being a woman who was a teacher. So??? Funnily enough I had two women teachers who weren't astronauts. In 1986 one used hit us in the head. I Google her name a few times a year, hoping she has died.
The next time RTE 2 had a newsflash during kids TV they were announcing the Chernobyl disaster.
