Ah well, who knows there might be some other festival on fer ye, out the back of inishbofin with Daniel Johnston playing with Venetian Snares and the Thirteenth Floor Elevators that weekend, but when you get there you'll find nothing but the Maam Cross Ceili band and a load of disgruntled hipsters.....

You think? They're one of those bands that kinda shock me when peope say they're really into them. I think their music is very hit and miss and I'd be surprised if they were considered a can't miss band. Unless 4,000 people just want to here Float On badly.

Yo La Tengo played FN stage. Ira going "you, up the front what do you want to hear?" was cool. Glad it wasn't to me though, I think they're great but I don't know a huge number of the the names of the songs.

Yeah, cos I was looking at EP on last fm where they put the line-up in order of popularity and Modest Mouse are tops with 20 million plays. Whoever is 2nd *only* has 14 million! Sure, that's worldwide, but I still reckon it'll be nuts!
