that SNL first season is supposed to be quite disappointing according to dudes on other DVD forums I post on.

took a while for the format of the show to get going - hence the first season ain't too memorable.

Like a lot of shows I suppose.

Problem is, season 1 has to sell well on DVD or else that's it for the DVD releases.

Wrestling DVD is still at the cheap price. Seems to have back into stock a few days ago as the Brits are getting their copies in the post yesterday / today.

HMV are going nuts with the boxset prices. Complete set of Alfred Hitchcock films 35 quid (from 125), Hammer Horror 21 disc set for 55 (down from 210!), Band of Brothers for 30 and tonnes others..

Anyone ever get that Hammer Horror box set? For that price I'll probably pick it up tomorrow.
