i should be the main star of that movie. put my name before the others.

I love Christiane F. Have it on DVD, lend it to all my pals etc.

Love the German version of "Heroes" on it too (and the soundtrack in general)

ICH!

UND DUUUUU!

If anyone's looking for me, I'll be 'round the back of the Bahnhof Zoo, screaming at the teenage hookers.
(I was there on Sunday, btw. The teenage hookers were there too. Bad buzz)

I've been wavering about buying this for ages.

So very expensive on amazon and yet so very desired by me.

It's such a first-world dilemma...

Incorrect. The first-world dilemma is in fact:

Do I
A) Buy it from amazon
B) Obtain it from the internet either directly or indirectly (e.g. download it or have someone who's downloaded it burn me a copy)
C) Oh look, CSI is on Living TV

Option C being by far the most heinous choice, from a moral standpoint. In any case, you are more than welcome to a copy, thus further diluting my already extremely watered-down guilt.

back on topic:

Wings of Desire.
Maybe not outright depressing, but certainly good for a crippling bout of its first cousin, melancholia. Check out a very un-hitler-like Bruno Ganz.

This was depressing and not in a good way. By the time it was over I had impaled my hands with my own fingernails through sheer irritation.

nah, have to disagree. thought it was a great film. some spectacular sections and the music's done pretty cleverly too.
