Woke up this morning to find a wee dead terrier inside my gate. I'm assuming he was hit by a car last night and either walked or place inside our gate. County council won't collect him because he's not on our property. ISPCA told me of all things, to either throw him in a bag and toss him into our bin, or throw him over our wall and ring the county council back. The local vet will collect him, scan him for a chip, and then dispose of him, for a fee, depending on weight. I'm thinking about maybe just taking a picture of him and giving him a burial on our land.
What to do?

He doesn't look that meaty. Looks like he's been stray for a while. Never know, may of died from hunger, not knowing there was a big bowl of dog food only 10 metres away.

I'm not even gonna entertain this.
One thing I've learned this morning, is that the ISPCA really don't give a fuck about the ethical treatment of dead animals. Is there no ISPCDA?

I read about a family who got their dog stuffed and hooked up to the doorbell so when it rang the dog barked. Just a thought.

I've been looking for one for about 25 years now

They're on ebay occasionally but postage from th US is just stupid
