you're right, i checked google just after posting my unbuninformed opinion...
never liked buns much, except butterfly buns

Butterfly buns are amazing. haven't made them in a long time. Might make some this weekend, along with brown bread and caramel squares!

Buns are bread whereas cupcakes are muffin sized sweet cakes. Fairy cakes, butterfly cakes are smaller versions of cupcakes. Biscuits are also bread that go well with gravy not cookies, people. It just sounds so wrong. I just think of dog biscuits.... like I should do a trick, like roll over or play dead to get a digestive.

A currant bun is bread based, you can put butter on it. As Jill Hives pointed out a queen cake is not bread based, it's sweet.
