Buying second hand (1 Viewer)

I was thinking of buying a mac (maybe powerbook/macbook) except i dont have much cash. Generally, can you trust second hand macs, or is it a bit dodge?

Ok, stupid question above.I guess i could simplify by asking do they age well?Do they last the years?

i bought this powerbook 2d hand 3 years ago nearly and it was a year old at the time. apart from one hard drive panic which i resolved thanks to Wilbert, its grand!!

i had to buy some g5s for work recently, i couldn't get any second hand ones in ireland without some cunt trying to rip me off, so got them from a place called scrumpymacs in the uk. They have a ebay shop or call them on 0044 1449 710030, they have more in stock than on the web so your best to ring. they were grand to deal with and it was next day delivery.
