I have two tickets both return which I used to get to Dublin from Enniscorthy. On getting on the bus both of these tickets were stamped once.
I did not return on these tickets as I had a lift the last time and because of what happened today. It was physically impossible for me to have used them as return tickets.
Went to get on the bus, was told on getting on the bus that I had used my tickets before and I would not be traveling today. I told him I had no money and they had only been used once and that the return was not punched. He said no, you wont be travelling. I then returned with, if you dont let me travel I will lodge a formal complaint.
He then said you can complain all you want, I asked for both my tickets back. I then went to talk to an inspector who told me that they had been used twice when they hadnt.
I then went spastic. I told him if he didnt let me on the bus I would call Joe Duffy tomorrow. He then said to me "Find some one else to deal with it".
I had no money, no credit etc so I had a panic attack right outside of bus eireann, started roaring crying and all. ( the worst thing in the world to me is being called a liar hence my horrible reaction.)
Sent my mother a call me, she told me to go back in and talk to them nicely, after i'd calmed down. I then went back in, still crying as I didnt know what to do. Went up to the information desk and the lady told me that they were valid and she called the head inspector again. Still crying I told him I had no money ,that they were vaild and that I was sorry for speaking to him the way I did. He said "I dont deal with threats, but I will get you on the 6.30 bus"
So he got me on the 6.30 bus, I thanked him, but he didnt apologise once. Im thinking that he only got me on the bus was due to the state I was in.
