yeah, that's an aerial shot.
it lasts a week, but the actual burn is i think 2 days before it ends (which makes navigation pretty hard afterwards, cos the man acts as a focal point too)
you can work voluntarily in different aspects of it; cleanup, set up, showing people where to go, working selling ice and coffee, but mostly its mooching, riding bikes, exploring, doing drugs and lots weird things.
music's great, art's great, it's just a good ol time.
you are supposed to buy a ticket but if you skydive in its free. people sneak in every year, but alot of the ticket money goes towards keeping the land as it was/should be and other insurance related things. it's all explained on the site i think.
