If there's nowt in the lease about paying bin charges your landlord is screwed alright.

i'm in DCC, so €5.50 for a lift (i think), 90 quid a year service charge.

i recently got them to take back my brown bin, i've no room for it and little need.

I'm in Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown. I signed up for Greenstar yesterday. Seems reasonable enough and much cheaper than the council (who I hear are pulling out altogether soon. They're probably all retiring on the money I gave them on Tuesday.).
Thing is, almost everyone on my road seems to be with Panda. I realised why last night when a chap dropped in a Panda brochure with his name and mobile number on it.
He must have noticed I'd moved in.

I'm now imagining some kind of Sopranos-type situation where I get my arm broken or something when he sees Greenstar deliver their three new bins to me next week....
