I Johned up for the first time today my flat was freezing. I'll not be johnless til march, thankfully i now have about 8 pairs though so they can be rotated amply thermal vests are good but you sweat like a freak.

I nearly whipped out the long johns for the first time yesterday also, need to get a few more pairs this year, guineys it is then.

I'm +1 for Treptower Park, it's cool as fuck. I wish I'd gone to the Stasi museum in Lichtenberg, but never had time to make it. It looks great. My favourite place for veggie/vegan fast food is Nil, there's one in Kreuzberg and one in Friedrichshain. Amazing falafel and foul (fava beans). So much good stuff in Berlin, it's definitely the coolest city in Europe.

The Wagenburger place is called Voner it's on Boxhagener strasse around the corner from Ostkreuz train station
Yeah treptower park is deadly, especially if you go to the back and there's an abandoned fairground in a forest with a hole in the fence that you can climb in, there's security though.
Lakewise Schlachtensee and the lake out in Potsdam are great!

Yeah, hoping to manage to go to the Stasi museum 'cos thought of doing a socialist-themed day and just go and see a load of socialist things like the cemetery with all the socialists and the Soviet monument at Treptower among others. Only shit thing is that all the socialist things are all so spread out.

Berlin is one amazing city! All the historical stuff is really really interesting and it really has a good vibe. Sadly didn't manage to go and see Kopi, but went twice to eat at Voner and I back up the claim that it has the best chips anyone is ever going to eat.
