Seeing as we're repeating ourselves here ... I got over my music snobbery about pop music when the kids were little, but took me until I was playing in a bar band in my mid-40s to realise that the joy of people singing along to Country Roads or Sweet Caroline is just as real and valid as any joy I've ever experienced

My turning point was whenever Kylie released Can't Get You Out Of My Head.

Also, I was looking at some tiktok or reel of Taylor Swift fans who couldn't get tickets
And they showed up anyway in torrential rain, in the car park of some grey stadium and sang/screamed along to every single song, hugging each other and getting soaking fucking wet and loving every second of it.
I know it's possible to snark on the Swifties, but I cannot hate on that even for a second.
