The last U2 album I bought was pop. Which was 26 years ago. FFS.
I know I'm supposed to hate them..... but I don't. Even if Henry Rollins says I should.

I think Stay (FASC) is their best song.

Possibly agree with this. One of the things I find so baffling about them is that they have some really great tunes and seem to think all their crap ones are just as good.

That was the last album where they were still trying new stuff / new approaches etc.

After that it was boring shit

it's a 16K display so that's 16 times the resolution of 4K.. So yeah. Big files.

This data object is set within a seascape based on photographs taken by activist and artist Uili Lousi of his heating ancestral ocean near Tonga. Gerrard’s new work represents an ecology in hyper distress and a world faced with the existential threat of rising seas.

I spotted John Gerrard was involved in the AV show (well i spotted the general image he does).

Anywhooo it's 100% the most Bono thing to do to use an image meant to portray ecological stress in the most ecologogically stressfull venue ever imagined.

one way of phrasing it would be who would you be more likely to enjoy a pint with? i suspect bono would be grand in that situation.

People resent successful people for any number of reasons

I highly doubt Rollins would ever lower himself to drinking an actual pint, or enjoying a 1-1 conversation that is not about him

I've no problem with Henry Rollins either.
But....I think musically its 99% perspiration, 1% inspiration.
He doesn't claim to be Mozart in fairness.
