The Godfather (1 Viewer)

It's the scene where Michael tells Fredo to never take sides against the family.
Fredo's loyalties are confused at this point.
The movie dresses him like the hired help.
Michael is dressed for a funeral

He will kill Fredo
ah i see. I am terrible at 'getting' things in films. Like, films have the desired effect but I am incapable of analyzing them. I'm kind of cool with that, I analyse enough other stuff as it is.

With respect, this is something that a chinstroker in Shoreditch would say

The Conversation is about one thing. The Godfather is about everything.

Bernie should discuss the conversation over lucky charms with chocolate milk in that new cereal cafe?

Actually, one thing I love about the 70's classics is the air of claustrophobia that they create, stuff like The Conversation and Dog Day Afternoon certainly have it. The Godfather, great in it's own right, doesn't share that mood.

The French Connection has it too. Also better than The Godfather, imo

The Godfather is not a 70s film

It is an eternal one

Shoreditch is full of bankers and TOWIE Heads these days.

I still dream of all the Towie kids that hang around @Jill Hives

I saw The Godfather for the first time about 5 years ago.
I think it must be one of those ones that you can miss the boat on, because it left me kinda cold. That said I've never been a particular mafia movie fan (although The Sopranos is my favourite TV Show - well, it kind of broke the genre rather than just conform to it).

I feel the same about The Exorcist.
