I literally understood the scene differently.

Ah lad, I was joking. I like them both although on balance I prefer maybe some of the Cagney 20s/30s pictures or Goodfellas for similar subject matter.

First one was good, second one was pretty bloated, never bothered with the third one. Don't see the massive fuss over it, it's grand but not the movie that ends all movies that you think it would be based on the hype.

I've always despised the film for how is sociopathy bled into people's notions of loyalty, honour, masculinity etc., because it looked cool and was quotable.
As a film it's not bad - not as good as people think it is, and doesn't really have much to say
But as a manual for "what it is to be a man"
