i don't know much about the stone roses but my first reaction on seeing this thread title was 'weren't they that shite band with that bloke with the hair and the eyebrows', and i've checked and i was exactly right. so now

In Dublin it would depend, for me, on where they played.

Couldn't see myself going to the O2 for this.

o2 or vicar street or an outdoor summer gig in marley or something like that.

jesus me and a bunch of my friends got into the Stone Roses when we were 15 or 16. about 2 years after they split. we used to try and hunt down bootlegs and any singles or remixes or cover versions we could find. the 15 year old me would be superchuffed about this right now!

Vicar St? They'd be needing to play bigger venues than that. Ian Brown has a divorce to pay for.

same. I liked them enough when they were on the go but only became super-obsessed with them after the turmoil.

they're grand but this gig will be awful. I saw Brown live loads of times and his gigs ranged from decent to awful, but awful was more plentiful than. Have seen Mani with Primal Scream a tonne of times and it was grand at first but just became done to death. Saw Squire live twice playing solo - brutal both times but it was a delight to see the man (my favourite of the roses boys). And I'd still admit to liking both the seahorses albums.

Never got to see the Rub but they sounded like they might be rubbish.
