Young Hearts have just announced the first details of this year’s Yule celebration gig
Updated: Jape “Richie Egan” Jape has been added to the lineup, with YET MORE surprises promised…
The now-traditional annual Christmas celebration takes place in The Dublin Food Co-Op, Newmarket Square on December 3rd, and tickets are €22. The lineup announced so far is:
Booka Brass Band
This Side Up
Replacements tribute supergroup featuring Peter Toomey, Thomas McLaughlin, James Byrne, and Danny Snow
As if that wasn’t enough, we are also promised SURPRISE guests… and more. As usual, it’s all in aid of The Simon Community. In their own words:
I hope this note finds you all warm and well this cold autumn day. It’s been a WEIRD TIME. Since I last wrote, America has been taken over by an alien, and our beloved Leonard Cohen has gone away, but he’s the kind of person I imagine could actually return to us some day, he’s got that kind of spirit.
It’s been an unsettling period, so it seems timely that our annual Christmas show at the CO-OP, Newmarket Square, Dublin 8, is coming up in a couple of weeks – Saturday 3rd December – it’s a good excuse to dust the cobwebs off, drink cosy mulled wine, dance a lot, and kiss under the mistletoe (we can provide the mistletoe, but you’ll have to steal the kisses) and see some brilliant, creative artists.
