The Small Hours Christmas Party

Donal Dineen’s The Small Hours‘ Christmas Party is on December 18th in The Twisted Pepper and features live performances from Donal Dineen & Friends, Catscars and Sunken Foal. Based around Donal’s “The Small Hours” radio show, the gig and will feature the Dublin debut of Donal’s full live show featuring the likes of Jeremy RSAG, Ronan O’Snodaigh of Kila and Niwel Tsumbu, plus live performances from Planet Mu’s Sunken Foal, Catscars and the Soup Collective Exhibition.

Donal Dineen debuted on Today FM with his show ‘Here Comes the Night’ between 1997 and 2004. From 2004 onwards, The Small Hours became his new slot on the station. Prior to this, Donal was the editor and presenter of the Cork based RTE programme No Disco. During ‘The Small Hours’, Donal programs a broad musical spectrum from Country to Avant Garde with a sprinkling of Soul, Electronica and Dance to name but a few sub-genres.

The Small Hours Christmas Party will aim to be a true reflection of his radio show featuring a wide range of live performances from fast up & coming Irish artists selected by Dineen, combined with his own 9 piece live show (the first performance outside of the Electric Picnic and Body & Soul Festivals) featuring top Irish musicians including Kila’s Ronan O’Snodaigh, RSAG & Niwel Tsumbu. The show will also featuring an audio visual exhibition curated by Dineen’s Soup Collective with Natalie Winterlich, Hector Castillo & Guillermo.
