Katie Kim – The Unitarian Church, Saturday April 21st

Katie Kim will officially launch her double vinyl LP Cover & Floodon April 21st – Record Store Day 2012 – in The Unitarian Church.

Waterfordʼs Katie Kim released her first album, Twelve, in 2008. It was met with a warm critical reception across Ireland and beyond. Jim Carroll, the chief critic with the Irish Times called it “subtle, slow-burning magic”. She has been championed by a host of DJs, including Donal Dineen, Paul McLoone, Jenny Huston and Dan Hegarty. Katie has recently collaborated with David Kitt and this year has toured as a vocalist with The Waterboys on Mike Scottʼs WB Yeats project. She recently appeared on RTE arts show The Works with filmaker Myles OʼReilly.
