The Joinery’s 2014 calendar kicks off with Ewa Gigon, who launches her new 7” single on Saturday 25th January with support from Sí and Leanne Harte

Ewa Gigon is a Polish singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist. Present on the independent scene since 2004, among others, she made appearance on Ballroom of Romance, Magical Girl, Ruby Sessions, Spirit of Voice, Beyond the Bookshelf and Lady Fest Berlin. On the night she’ll lanuch her custom made limited edition 7-inch dinked vinyl featuring “For Natalia” and “Early Winter”.

Sí is a singer-songwriter/harpist/pianist based in cork. Her music has been described as ‘delicate yet defiant, and as spectrally Gothic as it is beautiful’.

Leanne Harte is a Dublin multi-instrumentalist singer songwriter. She is currently recording a new EP to showcase her new acoustic direction, taking up residence in Loud Room Studios with producers Ray Traynor & Gary Reddy. Restless Sleepers is set for a spring release and promises five servings of folk-with-an-edge, including live favourites ‘Wrote Away’, ‘Easy When You’re Gone’ and the title track.
