The Other Marty, independent filmmaker Ian Lawton’s latest short film, gets its premiere at Underground Cinema on February 3rd.

The Other Marty tells the story of two brothers caught in a rather unusual situation following in the similar mix of humor & horror as his previous film Shut The Fuck Up. Scroll down for the trailer.
You may be more familiar with Ian’s work from his music videos for Large Mound, Groom, Corrugated Tunnel, Joan of Arse, Sack & most recently in putting together the video for Thumped’s own Christmastime In Dublin Town.
Ian continues to showcase independent Irish music in his work with this film, featuring two songs from Large Mound & a dark electronic score by The Video Nasty. The soundtrack will be available soon as a FREE download containing the two Large Mound tracks, the complete score by The Video Nasty, plus some remixes by soon to be announced remixers.
The premiere will be held in The Kingston Hotel Dun Laoghaire at Underground Cinema’s monthly screening of the best in Irish independent film. This will be the first public screening of The Other Marty before it hits the festival circuit later this year.
