It doesn’t take long to master a cherry picker.

I had my issues, but I wasn't the one who ultimately delayed anything. And I didn't break anything/hurt anyone.

Funnily, across the way there's two guys on a cherry picker doing something to the block of flats over there. Thusfar I've heard heard them use a reciprocating saw, a multi tool, a grinder of some kind. Sometimes on diesel, sometimes on battery.
They have a nicer machine than I had, but these are not tools to be using way up there if possible. They've been at the same window for three hours now.

It makes me feel better.

Mid Year Review time

I relate to that a lot, but also I have learned that the boss woman has a point (up to a point). I've never been a very hard worker, but now and again I conjure (or conspire with others to conjure) something up that's useful and unexpected, and that sort of shit is good for one's reputation. Has it ever led to more money? Yes. Not necessarily directly, but if you stay working someplace for more than a few years then having standing among your peers/bosses matters
