I'm went through these Gary. Black Diamond was the best of the lot.
The rest were fairly poor or average IMHO.
When you just listen it's very straightforward trad rock.

I remember seeing this year's ago on headbangers ball or raw power and liking it

I listen to a number of Metal podcasts and they all have a love of Kiss in common. It can be relentless. I'll listen to the Kiss lore all day, these guys can get deep on it, who actually played the solo on whatever song and who wrote what... it never ends. But then they'll play a song and 9 times out of ten its a massive let down. I'll listen to Gary's picks as I'm sure they'll be better picks than the ones these dudes on the podcasts choose.
There was a month back there when Vinnie Vincent guested on a number of podcasts, he's nuts, made no sense at all. Not surprised his gigs are cancelled again.

Too many variables
Although for most people it's probably Alive.
I love pretty much everything with make up,although the later ones have some of the best alongside some of the worst.
Gene and Peters solo records suck,but my favourite of all kiss related records is the Ace solo one closely followed by Dressed to Kill
