Havn't seen it myself, but think it's good for people to see
these things because it's something that will stay with them for a
long time, rather than reading about it, thinking it's terrible
and forgetting about it as you move on to reading about Posh's
newly discovered Cellulite.

someone was watching it in here a minute ago I went over for a look and left almost immediatley. I don't want to see it. And I promise, Sarah , I wont forget it for a long time.:(

I can imagine, there's no way I want to see it, just gives me a creeping
feeling all down my back even thinking about it,
especially when you think about the fact that he could still have
some sort of coherent thoughts after he was decapitated.
:(

Read somthing ages ago about this doctor in France doing experiments
with the last few prisoner to be guillotined <sp>? in france.

yikes, watched them cut but had to stop before they yoinked his head off. That's something I really don't wanna see. Just the fact it's real really drives it home.

I've heard abuot that too. Haven't they concluded that a guillotine victim is still concious for ten or twenty seconds after? It would be strange to be able to see as your head rolls away from your body.

" In actuality, the human head does remain conscious fifteen to twenty seconds after decapitation. This was proven when a scientist condemned to the guillotine in the 1700s told his assistant to watch and that he would blink as many times as he could. The assistant counted fifteen to twenty blinks after the head was severed, the blinks coming at intervals of about one second. So the head does remain briefly alive."

I just read a doctor suggesting that the guy was dead already because of the blood flow when his neck was being cut. His heart didn't appear to be pumping etc.

actually maybe he had a heart attack, fuck............

Ah Geeny, Imagine that's after your head is nipped of cleanly
not slowly hacked off, people are such disgusting creatures sometimes.

checl this out, from that site:

.... I received a note from a U.S. Army veteran who had been stationed in Korea. In June 1989 the taxi he and a friend were riding in collided with a truck. My correspondent was pinned in the wreckage. The friend was decapitated. Here's what happened:
My friend's head came to rest face up, and (from my angle) upside-down. As I watched, his mouth opened and closed no less than two times. The facial expressions he displayed were first of shock or confusion, followed by terror or grief. I cannot exaggerate and say that he was looking all around, but he did display ocular movement in that his eyes moved from me, to his body, and back to me. He had direct eye contact with me when his eyes took on a hazy, absent expression . . . and he was dead.
