Brad Anderson was rumoured to direct (he did The Machinist, deadly film) but that seems to have been dismissed... there's a lot of stuff on google about it but most of it from about a year ago...
guess it must have been abandoned, which is a shame - a remake with Anderson directing could have been amazing.

Martin is deadly.. without a doubt one of my favourite horror films and my favourite by Romero
Season Of The Witch is kinda dodge alright - in the commentary Romero keeps going on about getting it remade.. but there are parts that i like, it's another one that could definitely benefit from a remake

i must be the only horror fanatic in the world who doesnt have a problem with remakes... well most of them anyway..
