Talking footwear in general the most i've paid is about 150 euro but i'd go to 200 if it was a pair i really liked.

I own alot of shoes and always seem to wear the same pairs. I think the most I spent was €180 on boots, average is about a hundred a pair for work shoes or €50 for shoes for out. I know you can pay up to €500 in the likes of foot solution for shoes shaped to your foot. My friend works there and she's forever trying to convince me. They aren't pretty though hence I find it easy to say no

The only thing I've ever spent €180 on was a computer. and yes it came off the back of a truck.

most I spent was €85 for a good pair of waterproof leather work shoes. Two years back. Still wearing well.

I'd go up to €100 but they'd have to be waterproof.

oh I think the most expensive ones I have are some marc by marc jacobs ones. I'll happily shell over a couple of hundred but in general it's a mathematical formula which involves:

do I REALLY like them?

Ah wait a second I'm wearing a pair of waterproof hill walking style boots perfect fot the current wheather and they €35 that's a fair price methinks. No? As was pointed out to me on the subject of incredibly cheap runners they must be made in absolute dungeons if they're that price.

Kind of. I walk a lot and sometimes there are hills but mostly they're just to keep my feet dry and the above examples are class but not quite right I strongly endorse these though

have a pair of columbia boots quite similar to them,only cost me 90 and they're great for the mountains.

I wouldn't recomend the ones I have for mountains now, but lets face it with our climate anything less than a hiking shoe is just asking for a case of trench foot.

i used to go out in a pair of pumas and they werent so bad,always got soaked now but they were great for rock jumping.think ill go on another wander tonight,mountains are great at night,not a sinner about apart from deer
