the song 'the rose has teeth...' is AMAZING !!

I was a bit underwhelmed by the album when I first heard it. It's a grower though, but not a patch on Civil War.

i think it's matmos' best, by far. "solo buttons for joe meek" is a fucking stomper of a track, stunning strings curtosy of the wonderful kronos quartet. the track dedicated to burroughs is about the best tribute to the life and works of WSB that i have heard in musical form.
