i picked up "And Their Refinement Of The Decline" at the weekend. have been listening to it since. great stuff. sotl really are amazing. nice one for the rec., i never would have even spotted it in the record shop otherwise. it's about the closest kind of thing i've heard to music for airports, this one - a good thing in my book.this:

the other sleeve is the triple vinyl version of the s.o.t.l. i went cd, vinyl, then cd again, and every day since.

no, but i saw them performing it live in schiphol airport around 1999. while it was nice to see them doing it and the music was great, i kind of thought it went against the principal of the thing. didn't brian eno intend for it to just be unperformed, basically wallpaper? ah, whatever, i suppose.
